Rocuant Andalién wetland in Talcahuano within the Biobío region of Chile on March 29, 2025. National Audubon Society is partnering with BirdLife International and Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), together forming the Americas Flyway Initiative, to use natural infrastructure at the Rocuant Andalién wetland and transform three key areas into a floodable park that preserves biodiversity, mitigates flooding and reduces tsunami impacts in the metropolitan area of Concepción.
