Stormwater Infrastructure in Johannesburg, South Africa

To avoid further damages from flash floods, the city of Johannesburg upgraded the stormwater infrastructure in the Paterson Park Precinct. The chosen hybrid solution combines a concrete structure with a renaturalized stream section. Our SAVi assessment shows that this hybrid infrastructure provides a higher return on investment than purely grey solutions.
